Cantabile 4
This is a latest build of Cantabile 4 and includes Cantabile Lite, Solo and Performer in both x86 and x64 editions..
- Cantabile 4 can be installed side-by-side with Cantabile 3
- Cantabile 4 will copy your existing settings from Cantabile 3, after which the settings are completely separate
- Cantabile 4 uses the same license key as Cantabile 3
- Song, set list and rack files are both forward and backward compatible between Cantabile 3 and 4
Cantabile 3
This is the latest build of Cantabile 3 (now superseded by Cantabile 4).
Language Translation Files
These language files change the language of Cantabile's user interface.
To use these, place the file for the required language in the same folder as Cantabile.exe (typically
C:\Program Files\Topten Software\Cantabile 3.0 and C:\Program Files (x86)\Topten Software\Cantabile 3.0).
In Cantabile 3 you must set your Windows display language to the same language. In Cantabile 4 you can choose the language in Options -> General -> User Interface.
You'll need to restart Cantabile after making any changes.

Note: these files are a mix of user contributed translations and machine translations. If you find mistakes, please feel free to edit the downloaded file in a text editor and send us the correction.
System Requirements
Cantabile 4:
- Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (Anniversary Update) or Windows 11
- Microsoft .NET 5.0.8
- Sound card with compatible ASIO driver or WASAPI drivers
Cantabile 3 (3500 Series):
- Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (Anniversary Update) or Windows 11
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.1
- Sound card with compatible ASIO driver or WASAPI drivers
Cantabile 3 (3200 Series):
- Windows XP SP3 or later
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0
- Recommended: Windows 7 or later
- Sound card with compatible ASIO driver or WASAPI drivers
If your computer doesn't have the required .NET Framework installed Cantabile's setup program will automatically install it if there's an internet connection available. If not, you might need to manually install it - see the installation guide for how to do this.
The x64 editions require a 64-bit operating system, a 64-bit audio driver and 64-bit plugins. To use 32-bit plugins in Cantabile x64, see jBridge. The x86 edition of Cantabile will run on both x86 and x64 operating systems. Confused about 64 bit? See here.
Other than this, any system capable of running a supported operating system should run this version of Cantabile. Memory requirements and CPU requirements depend on the plugins you're using. Hard disk space requirement about 8Mb.
If your sound card didn't come with as ASIO driver, try ASIO4ALL for an excellent generic ASIO driver, or you can use Window's built in WASAPI drivers if you only require audio output (ie: no audio input/recording).
Mac OS-X Support
Cantabile only runs on the Windows platform. An OS-X was under development however this has been put on the back burner due to higher priority commitments for the Windows version.
Version 2
Cantabile 2 is no longer recommended for use, but is included here for existing customers still using this product.

Version 1.x
Cantabile 1.x is not longer supported nor recommended. Also it's only available as an x86 build and licensing requirements for the full edition have been removed (ie: license no longer necessary).
